If You Could Copy Warren Buffett, Would You Trade Alone?

You never could. But today there are traders with years of wins who can't hide a single trade, and you can copy them.

New boots. Day one. A hundred battles.

1Two soldiers

Two soldiers walk into the same battle. One got new boots yesterday. The other has come back from a hundred of these. Both can get hit. Everybody knows that, so nobody in the trench says it out loud. They just work out who to stand next to.

Money works the same way. Anyone can lose it, so the question worth asking is who has the better odds, you or them? Most of us have the new boots. When European regulators checked, 74 to 89 percent of everyday CFD accounts lost money. In Brazil, 97 percent of people who day traded for 300 days or more lost money. That's a lot of evenings spent on charts.

2The wall

So why doesn't everyone just stand next to the veteran? For a hundred years, there was a wall. Picture copying Warren Buffett's trades for the last 50 years. You couldn't. Big investors report what they hold up to 45 days after each quarter ends, so a trade can be over four months old when you read about it. And the best stock trader you've never heard of? That account stays private forever.

Then trading moved on-chain. On Hyperliquid every trade lands on a public record the moment it happens, whether the trader likes it or not. Nobody can fake it or quietly delete the bad ones. In 2026 it stopped being only crypto: stocks, gold and oil are there now too. You don't need anyone's permission, and you don't pay the trader a cent. The wall is gone.

3Meet a veteran

Here's one. This wallet has been trading for 912 days. We don't know who it is, but we can see every trade. It trades names like Nvidia and SpaceX, and it almost always bets on prices falling, which most of us wouldn't know how to start doing. In the last 12 months it made $662,114, more than half of it in the last 90 days.

4The 18-day battle

Anyone looks like a veteran when prices go up. So we score every trader out of 100 on what takes years to build: long-term return, how much money they've really made, how big they trade, and more. Then we ran a simple test. We froze our scores on October 17. Over the next 18 days Bitcoin fell almost 7 percent.

In our Top 100, 44 percent still made money. Near the bottom of the list, only 18 percent did. That wallet we just met made about $183,000. It's one battle, and nobody wins them all. But we know who we'd rather stand next to.

5How close can you stand?

One last question: when the veteran ducks, do you duck too? Your copy moves about 3 seconds later, and you'd think late always means worse. We checked 207 real copied orders. 45 percent got a better price than the trader, 49 percent got a worse one, and the rest were the same. Sometimes the price waits for you.

Traders who trade all day are harder to follow, so every trader page shows an Expected match. High score, high match: that's your veteran.

6Why fight alone?

If you love the fight, go for it. We built a Trade page for that. But if what you want is the money at the end, there's a shorter way. Find your veteran, press Copy, and get your evenings back.

Warren Buffett never gave you that chance. These traders can't stop you.

Past results don't promise future results. Copying can lose money.
